| Canvas | The unit of work for one engagement: all worksheets and the dossier of one client. |
| Tenant | An organisation or consultancy with its own isolated environment, house style and configuration. |
| Worksheet | One domain within the canvas, for example Customers or IT. |
| Dossier | The collection of the client's source documents; the evidence base under AI generation. |
| Grounding | The principle that an AI claim must be traceable to a concrete passage in the dossier. |
| Evidence chain | The verified reference from a claim to the fragment it rests on. |
| Source accountability | The visible presentation of that: which file and which page this comes from. |
| No evidence | Explicit outcome when the dossier contains no relevant passage — instead of an invented answer. |
| Review gate | The fixed moment at which a person accepts, edits or rejects an AI proposal. |
| Archetype | A fixed angle along which a domain is described, for example customer journey or segmentation. |
| Issue | A problem identified on a worksheet; raw material for analysis and improvement actions. |
| Cluster | A group of related issues that together form one theme or pattern. |
| Improvement action | A proposed intervention that follows from the analysis. |
| Capability | Something the organisation must be able to do to make its strategy succeed. |
| Gap | The difference between the current and the desired maturity level of a capability. |
| Initiative | A bundle of improvement actions in the change portfolio that forms one change, with a decision and a rationale. |
| Plateau | A step on the roadmap of the change portfolio. |
| Change portfolio | The worksheet where improvement actions become initiatives: prioritise, feasibility, roadmap and deliver. |
| One-pager | A single-A4 document per worksheet or canvas, written as business text. |
| Reviewed | The confirmation that the consultant has reviewed the content of a report, before downloading. |
| Outgoing | Tab in the dossier with every downloaded report version, with version number, date and author. |
| Trial bench | Administration screen on which a new AI model runs alongside the current one on the same fixed set before it goes into use. |
| Help centre | All help for a worksheet on one page, with the option to ask a question. |
| Strategic theme | A guiding priority from the strategy, with success factors and KPIs. |
| CSF | Critical success factor: what matters most for a theme to succeed. |
| Report block | A typed part of a report that knows how to retrieve its own data. |
| Digital maturity | A measurement of how digitally mature an organisation is, on the European digital maturity framework, with the organisation's own ambition next to it. A tab of Strategy and a report of its own. |
| Measurement | One run through the Digital maturity questionnaire, with a score and level per topic and for the total. The owner confirms a measurement as a revision. |
| Level | The grouping of a score into basic, average, fairly advanced or advanced. |
| Information domain | An area of information the organisation works in, for example customer contact or product registration; applications, processes and key data belong to it. |
| Layer | The grouping of information domains into five layers: Interaction channels, Customer journey, Integration & data, Product registration and Steering & support. |
| Landscape | The register of applications and technology in IT, shown as a table or as a diagram of applications on their information domains in the five layers. |
| Owner | The role on a canvas that manages the participants. A canvas always has at least one owner. |
| Editor | The role on a canvas that changes the content. |
| Reader | The role on a canvas that reads along: everything can be read and a reviewed report downloaded. Fields are closed and the AI buttons are off. |
| Read-only | The state of a canvas for a reader: nothing can be changed, added or deleted, and no AI credit is used. |
| Participant | Someone who works on one canvas, even without being a member of the organisation. A participant only becomes a member of the canvas by accepting the invitation. |
| Access for support | Temporary access (24 hours, 3 days or 7 days) that the client itself gives Belita to view a canvas, as reader or editor. It expires by itself and can be withdrawn earlier. |
| Second factor | A six-digit code from an authenticator app, in addition to the password when signing in. The platform administrator switches it on per organisation, for administrators or for all users. |
| Platform administrator | The administrator of the platform itself (Belita): organisations, settings and budgets, without access to the content of a canvas. |
| AI budget | An organisation's allowance of AI use. When it is used up, a message says so in the language of the canvas. |
| New version | A newer edition of a document in the dossier. The AI uses only the newest one; the older ones are kept. |
| Example canvas | A fully filled-in canvas (Meerdijk) with ready-made reports, in the language of the organisation. |
| What's new | Page in the account menu with what changed, with a switch for the news email. |
| Intake | The agreements up front: what the engagement is, with an engagement confirmation you can share. |
| Investment readiness scan | The workspace as an investment readiness scan: can the organisation carry the growth plan. |
| Administrator | Role in an organisation that manages members, house style, language and AI budget. The other organisation role is member. |
| Extract, generate, improve | The three actions of the AI: pulling from the dossier, writing with dossier, worksheet and general knowledge, and sharpening text that is already there. |
| Confirm | Recording a measurement or model as the definitive state, as a revision. |
| Row-level security | Authorisation in the database itself: rows you may not see are not delivered. |
| Test environment | The environment in which every change is proven before production receives it. |
